Billionaire David Koch retiring

Billionaire David Koch cited undisclosed health problems for stepping down from his company and political organizations.

Koch, 78, is retiring from his roles at Koch Industries, the Kansas-based industrial conglomerate run by his brother Charles Koch. David Koch has worked as executive vice president and a board member of Koch Industries, as well as chairman and CEO of its Koch Chemical Technology Group subsidiary. He’s also leaving the board of the Americans for Prosperity Foundation.

Koch survived prostate cancer and has donated hundreds of millions of dollars to cancer research and medical centers.
