Billings & Associates Fine Woodworking LLC

Dock Brothers Construction is the general contractor for Billings & Associates Fine Woodworking LLC’s 15,200-square-foot location. The architect is Richard Werner of Werner & Associates Architects LC. Engineers are Tharp & Associates Consulting Engineers, mechanical, electrical and plumbing; HBH Engineering LLC; and Engineering Consultants Inc., structural.

Paul Dock of Dock Brothers said the building will have a small office area, with the bulk of the space allotted for Billings’ manufacturing operations.

Billings & Associates does 90 percent of its work in commercial cabinetry, said owner John Billings, who noted that his son, Thomas Billings, is the shop manager running production at the company. The building also will house John Billings’ other business interests, Billings Rentals LLC and Descansa Percherons LLC, through which he breeds and raises draft horses. “We carry Santa Claus every year in the Christmas parade,” Billings said.

Completion is slated for January.
