Billie Marsala is affectionately known by SBJ staff members as the Go-To Girl. She joined the staff in June of 2000 as a circulation assistant and was promoted in 2008 to her current position in customer service. Billie is the initial point person for consumer information regarding new and renewal subscriptions, classified advertising, plaques and reprints.

Billie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in History from Drury University. Before her graduation in May of 2008, Billie has always been a working student. She completed her Associate degree at Ozarks Technical Community College and then went on to get her Bachelor degree all while working full-time at Springfield Business Journal.

Billie has been blessed with the gift of gab. When asked what she likes best about her job, she replied, "I love talking to SBJ customers! The very best business community is right here in Southwest Missouri." Billie also noted that she is proud to work for a woman-owned business.
