Mark Twain Elementary School Principal Janell Bagwell and Springfield Public Schools Superintendent Norm Ridder show off the traveling trophy the district awards each year to its largest United Way Campaign contributor on a per-person basis. Ridder presented the trophy during a Jan. 18 ceremony. Twain Elementary contributed $3,827, or $89.01 per person, to the campaign. Middle school honors went to Pipkin, which donated $3,971, and high school honors went to Central High, which donated $4,848. The district raised $72,842.
