Valerie and Manoli Savvenas of Manoli’s Jewelers show off their newly remodeled store during a Dec. 2 open house. The new design features more emphasis on Manoli Savvenas’ Greek heritage including original hand-painted murals by St. Louis artist Euripides Kastaris. Kastaris, born in Thessalonica, Greece, received an Olympic gold medal for the poster he painted for the 2004 Summer Olympic Games in Athens.
