Big Cedar Lodge temporarily closed down a new ropes course after a child fell on Sunday.
"Staff immediately implemented emergency procedures and EMTs provided onsite care before transporting the guest to a local hospital," Big Cedar spokeswoman Janet Glaser said in a statement provided to the Springfield News-Leader.
"The ropes course will remain closed for a full assessment and we will implement any necessary adjustments in operating procedures as guest safety is our No. 1 priority."
She did not provide further details on the child's injuries or the cause of the accident. She did note the child was in stable condition.
