Big banks to pay out largest dividends in decades

All of the nation’s largest banks passed the latest stress test, marking the first time they've all aced the exam since the Federal Reserve started it seven years ago.

The banks have the option to return up to 100 percent of their profits to shareholders. That's up from 65 percent last year.

Even scandal-ridden Wells Fargo passed the test without objections from the Fed.
