Bids for the nine parcels that are part of the city of Springfield’s 10th group of surplus properties up for sale are due by 3 p.m. July 23, according to a city news release.
For each property, the city lists a reserve price, intended to give potential buyers an idea of what bids the city would accept. Among the properties for sale in the current group are five zoned for single-family residential, two zoned for residential townhouse and two zoned for manufacturing.
Proceeds for the sales will replenish the funds from which each property was purchased, with the remainder going to the Police-Fire Pension Fund.
