President Joe Biden's $2 trillion infrastructure spending proposal will be paid for with increased corporate taxes, people familiar with the matter told The New York Times.
The sources said the plan would require 15 years of higher taxes on corporations to pay for eight years of spending. The proposal includes raising the corporate tax rate to 28% from 21%.
Biden is expected to formally propose the package today.
