President Joe Biden on Tuesday said the United States should have enough coronavirus vaccine for all adults by the end of May.
He additionally announced drugmaker Merck would produce rival Johnson & Johnson’s newly approved one-shot vaccine.
Officials said the rate of vaccination could extend through the summer, depending on the willingness of Americans to take the shots and the government’s capacity to deliver them.
