Biden tweaks PPP to assist small businesses

President Joe Biden today is expected to announce revisions to the Paycheck Protection Program.

Businesses with fewer than 20 employees exclusively will be allowed to apply for the program over a 14-day period starting Wednesday.

Rule changes also are expected to help independent contractors, self-employed individuals and sole proprietors have a better chance at securing PPP funds.
