President Joe Biden today is slated to sign an executive order that would increase the minimum wage for federal contract workers.
The minimum wage for those workers is going up to $15 per hour from its current rate of $10.95 per hour.
White House officials estimate hundreds of thousands of people would be impacted by the change.
