President Joe Biden reportedly plans to nominate gun control advocate David Chipman to lead the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
Chipman, a former agent with the ATF, is an adviser to a gun control organization founded by former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords.
His appointment would come after a wave of recent mass shootings.
