President Joe Biden is proposing a fiscal 2024 budget with a 25% minimum tax on billionaires.
“My 2024 budget is a blue-collar blueprint to rebuild America in a fiscally responsible way that leaves no one behind,” Biden said.
The budget includes a boost in defense spending to $885 billion from $858 billion.

Last year, the "wealthiest 1%" paid in excess of 40% of all income tax revenue. It is not an "administration" thing, it is a democrat party "thing". Tax the rich. Eventually, thee "rich" will either leave or have no incentive to keep producing. Unlike liberal politicians, most wealthy people are not stupid. Unless of course, they inherited their wealth and feel guilty about it.
