Joe Biden brought back a presidential tradition by releasing his tax return.
During 2020, he and his wife earned $607,336 and paid $157,414 in federal income tax. That's down from $985,223 in combined earnings in 2019, when the couple benefited from speeches, book sales and positions at higher education institutions.
Donald Trump refused to release his tax returns, becoming the first president not to do so since the Watergate era, BBC News reports.
