Biden pushes for steep drop in carbon emissions

President Joe Biden announced he would sign an executive order requiring half of all vehicles sold in the United States to be electric by 2030.

That's up from just 2% today.

The Biden administration also announced it would reinstate fuel efficiency standards introduced during Barack Obama's presidency and rolled back under former President Donald Trump.
