President Joe Biden on Monday announced a program through which low-wage earners will receive discounted internet.
AT&T, Comcast and Verizon are among 20 internet providers that have signed on for the initiative, a feature of the $1 trillion infrastructure package passed by Congress last year.
Qualifying households would pay no more than $30 per month for high-speed service.
