President Joe Biden laid out a three-part plan to combat rising inflation.
The first is to acknowledge that the Federal Reserve “has a primary responsibility to control inflation.”
The second part involves making goods less expensive, with a focus on gas prices.
In the third part of his plan, Biden said he would work to reduce the federal deficit through “common-sense reforms to the tax code.”
Inflation has been viewed as a major strain on Biden's job approval rating.
