President Joe Biden on Thursday added more Chinese companies to a blacklist of businesses set up by former President Donald Trump.
The list now comprises 59 Chinese companies. White House officials said the companies added to the list have links to Beijing's "military-industrial complex."
China accused the United States of "suppressing" businesses in the country and threatened retaliation.
