“I like to joke around and say ‘security by day, ninja by night,’” says Jon Taylor, owner of Republic Warrior Sports. The gym focuses on functional fitness, meaning participants stay fit but have fun while exercising. The obstacle course is similar to those used in parkour. If ninja training isn’t strenuous enough, he also has a day job selling security systems for commercial and residential properties.
