On stronger demand for its technology products, Minnesota-based retailer Best Buy beat analysts' estimates for the second quarter.
The company's adjusted earnings per share were 69 cents, above the 63 cents projected via a Thomson Reuters survey of analysts. Revenue was $8.9 billion, above forecasts of $8.7 billion.
Net income moved up to $209 million, beating $198 million in the same quarter last year.
