Berkshire invests in Express Scripts, ditches Deere & Co.

Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway Inc. disclosed a new stake in health care management company Express Scripts Holding Co. and shed its stake in agricultural equipment maker Deere & Co., among several changes in its stock investments during the third quarter.

According to Reuters, Berkshire bought 449,489 shares of Express Scripts. The investment in the St. Louis company represents the smallest holding in Berkshire's portfolio.

Berkshire had held a stake in Deere for two years.
