Roseann Bentley, former 30th District state senator, threw her hat into the ring Dec. 9, announcing that she will run for the Greene County Commission's Eastern District seat on the Republican ticket. Bentley spent eight years in the Missouri General Assembly, chairing the Senate Education Committee for two years and serving on the Senate Appropriations Committee.
