St. Louis agriculture firm Benson Hill (Nasdaq: BHIL) is considering bankruptcy.
Benson Hill officials said in a March 18 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission that the business is mulling a "court-supervised sale" or "liquidation of the company."
The filing indicates "the company does not currently have sufficient liquidity to pursue its long-term strategy."
