Bears' season ends with 3-2 loss to Arkansas

The Missouri State University Bears were unable to defeat Arkansas in the third and deciding NCAA Super Regional series game at Baum Stadium, the Springfield News-Leader reports.

The MSU baseball team's season came to an end Sunday when Arkansas pitcher Zach Jackson struck out Tate Matheny. Runners had been in scoring positions in the 3-2 loss.

The Bears set a school record for victories at 49-12.
