Bayer AG this week announced a $2 billion deal to settle future legal claims involving weedkiller Roundup.
Bayer has faced myriad lawsuits over Roundup, which allegedly has caused cancer in customers.
The German company took over the product as part of its $63 billion acquisition of Monsanto in 2018.
