Battlefield's new fire station is being constructed with insulated concrete forms. Because of the ICFs, the fire station will be able to withstand an F2 tornado, and the sleeping area will be able to withstand an F3 tornado. For this project, Amvic ICFs manufactured by Diversified Plastics Corporation of Nixa are being used. The building will have a concrete double-T roof. In addition to the sleeping area, there will be kitchen and common area for a full-time staff. There also will be a garage areas to house six fire vehicles. |ret||ret||tab|
