New PriceCutter prototype
Ramey/PriceCutter's new supermarket at 65 Marketplace (highways 65 and CC in Ozark) is a $5 million, state-of-the-art prototype store designed to present the new image Ramey/PriceCutter has chosen for its supermarket business.
The "PriceCutter Fresh Market" is the result of collaboration by architects Alan Bates and R.G. Foster of Bates & Associates Inc. with Ramey/PriceCutter President and Chief Executive Officer Larry Willis and Associated Wholesale Grocers.
The exterior of the 52,000-square-foot store combines brick and limestone for a neoclassical appearance. Exposed-structure ceilings and a colored concrete floor will provide an urban atmosphere.
The contractor on the project is Supermarket Builders of Missouri. The store is scheduled for completion in late spring, 2002.
