Bass Pro to stat Atlantic City construction

Bass Pro Shops plans to begin development of a planned store in Atlantic City, N.J., next month.

The Springfield-based megaretailer received final site approval this week for land-use variances needed for the project, part of an $18 million plan in the city, according to the Press of Atlantic City.


Plans to construct an 86,000-square-foot store on Atlantic Avenue across from the city's popular outlet development were announced more than a year ago.
