Bass Pro to film TV show in Springfield

On Sunday and Monday, Bass Pro Shops is filming a new TV fishing show and is inviting the public to its Springfield flagship store.

The Springfield News-Leader reports audience members will have a chance to be on national TV when "Opening Day Countdown" airs on the Outdoor Channel at 10:30 p.m. Feb. 9-13.

The show will feature fishing tips, insights and product reviews delivered by top professional anglers.
