Springfield-based Bass Pro Shops plans to close its existing Cincinnati store and open a replacement outside of the Ohio city.
Construction is set to begin in 2014 and end in 2015 for the new 150,000-square-foot store in West Chester, Ohio.
The original Cincinnati Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World opened in November 2000, and is located in the Cincinnati Mall, now know as Forest Fair Village, according to the Cincinnati Business Courier.
Bass Pro, which employs 220 at its existing store, plans to increase its head count in the area to up to 300.
