Springfield-based outdoor retailer Bass Pro Shops is opening a new store in Arizona.
The 100,000-square-foot Outdoor World-branded store in Tucson is scheduled to open to the public on March 25, according to a news release. Costs associated with the store were not disclosed.
Officials said in the release that the company "is ready to serve outdoorsmen and women and to honor the rich sporting heritage of the Sonoran Desert region."
The Bass Pro Outdoor World store anchors the Marketplace at the Bridges, with nearby access to Interstate 10.
The store marks the third location in Arizona for Bass Pro, according to the release. Bass Pro's website lists 181 stores in the United States and Canada.
