Bass Pro receives $31M in incentives for Conn. store

Bass Pro Shops has been approved for $31 million in state grants and special financing for a planned 150,000-square-foot Outdoor World store in Bridgeport, Conn., according to an Associated Press reported published in the Bellingham Herald.

Bass Pro is expected to crete some 100 full-time jobs and 137 part-time jobs for the store.

The store, which would bookend the Steel Point project, is estimated to draw about 3 million annual visitors, according to the report.
