Barr plans to skip House hearing

Attorney General William Barr indicated he will not be present at a House Judiciary hearing Thursday on special counsel Robert Mueller's report.

Barr cited a disagreement over the questioning. His department also missed a committee deadline to submit an unredacted version of the Mueller report.

“I hope and expect the attorney general will think overnight and will be there as well,” committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler said, noting the hearing would still be held.
