A bankruptcy judge has given the green light to the sale of 23andMe.
The buyer is TTAM Research Institute, which is operated by 23andMe co-founder and former CEO Anne Wojcicki. The organization bid $305 million via bankruptcy proceedings.
TTAM Research Institute plans to use the acquired DNA data for medical research.
