Banking on Hollister

Posted online
Arvest Bank broke ground June 3 on its first branch in Hollister, at 139 Gage Drive. Participating in the ceremony are, from left, Jim Case, commercial lender; John Joslyn, Arvest board member; Greg Baker, president of Arvest Branson; Shirley Powell, assistant branch manager; Pam Druffell, president of the Hollister Chamber of Commerce; and Nelda Lies, Arvest board member. The 4,000-square-foot, full-service facility will feature three drive-through lanes and an automated teller machine and will offer standard banking services as well as mortgage, commercial and consumer lending.

Arvest also is in the process of building two branches in Springfield; one is under construction at 2403 W. Republic Road, and land has been purchased for another at Chestnut Expressway and National Avenue. [[In-content Ad]]
