Jeffri Baldner joined U.S. Bank as a commercial relationship manager in Springfield. A Springfield native and graduate of Glendale High School, Baldner holds a business management and marketing degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He most recently worked as a sales manager for Best Buy, and prior to that he worked at Circuit City, where he received a Manager of Distinction award for his attention to service. In his new role, Baldner advises businesses that want to improve their cash flow, efficiency and growth though U.S. Bank's services.
Danny A. O'Neal, vice president of Southern Missouri Bank of Marshfield, earned the Chartered Adviser for Senior Living professional designation from The American College in Bryn Mawr, Pa. To achieve CASL status, O'Neal completed at least five courses and 10 hours of supervised examinations and met experience and ethics requirements. O'Neal has provided insurance and investment advice in the Marshfield area since 1983.
Ruel Bowman joined Pension Consultants Inc. as an investment services consultant. He previously was an investment consultant with Charles Schwab & Co.
Lori Johnson joined TelComm Credit Union as marketing director. She previously was the marketing director for CU Community Credit Union.
Hometown Bank in Carthage announced two staff promotions and a new employee. Jamie Carmickle was promoted to credit administration manager. She joined Hometown Bank in 1999 as a loan processor, and most recently held the position of credit administration assistant manager. In her new position, Carmickle is responsible for overseeing the daily functions of the credit administration department, including maintenance, monitoring and processing loan files and document imaging. Carmickle holds a degree in business management from Missouri Southern State University. Stephanie Garber was promoted to relationship manager trainee with Hometown Bank, where she has worked for nearly six years. Prior to her new position, Garber most recently served as credit administration manager. She holds an economics degree from MSSU, with a minor in total quality management. Upon completion of her training, Garber will work as a relationship manager specializing in small business loans. Debbie Franks joined Hometown Bank as a senior vice president. She has more than 26 years of banking experience and is serving as consumer sales manager for Hometown Bank's six banking centers.
Bradley A. Roam joined Commerce Bank as community president of its Willard location. Roam has 10 years of experience in lending and financial service, most recently as a community banking executive for a national banking company's Neosho offices. Roam, a graduate of Missouri State University with a degree in finance, is responsible for managing business development, customer service and overall management of the Willard branch and its staff.
John George joined The Signature Bank as a mortgage loan originator. He has more than 10 years of real estate experience. George, a graduate of Missouri State, provides residential real estate loans at The Signature Bank's mortgage banking center on South Campbell Avenue.
Shannon Thomason, internal audit director for Great Southern Bank, earned the Certified Internal Auditor and Certified Financial Services Auditor designations from the Institute of Internal Auditors. Thomason, who has nearly 10 years of experience in financial services, has been responsible for Great Southern's internal audit function since 2001. Thomason holds degrees in finance and human resource management from Missouri State.
