Bank profits hit all-time high

According to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. and reported by CNNMoney, U.S. banks have recovered quite well from the recent financial crisis.
 
On Wednesday, the FDIC reported that bank profits are at an all-time high, with a combined profit of $155 billion in 2013, up 10 percent from 2012.
 
Banks still aren’t lending as much, however, according to the FDIC. Lending as a percentage of deposits fell to 69.3 percent, an all-time low.
