The Bank of Missouri is slated to open a loan and deposit production office in Nixa on July 1.
Tim Cobb, who was hired by the company June 18 from his position as commercial loan officer at Southern Bank, will manage the roughly 2,000-square-foot office at 703 N. McCroskey St., Ste. 3, in the Village Marketplace. He declined to disclose lease terms.
Cobb said the Bank of Missouri plans to eventually launch a full-service branch in Nixa, but he declined to provide a timeline.
“A site in Nixa fills the gap for customers living between our Republic and Ozark locations,” community bank President Mick Nitsch said in a news release. “Plus, Nixa’s population of 20,000 people and its location within the Springfield/Branson metropolitan area certainly present opportunities for the Bank of Missouri and the services we can provide the people in this section.”
Perryville-based Bank of Missouri holds $1 billion in assets and operates 21 branches in Springfield, Republic, Ozark, Branson and central and southeast Missouri.[[In-content Ad]]
