Bank of Billings breaks ground on $2M Clever branch

Posted online

Bank of Billings broke ground yesterday on its third southwest Missouri branch.

The roughly $2 million facility in Clever is slated for completion in November, said Mark A. Jenkins, Bank of Billings president and CEO. The site is located west of the Apple Market shopping center in Clever.

"The Bank of Billings is looking to grow and views Clever as a growing community that would be a good fit for our community bank," Jenkins said via email.

Federal Construction Inc. is general contractor for the roughly 2,500-square-foot branch, Jenkins said.

Bank of Billings currently operates a branch apiece in Billings and Marionville.

The company had $95.5 million in assets and $82 million in deposits as of Dec. 31, according to data on file with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp.
