Bank of America is among banks contributing financing to Remington Outdoor Co. to help the company exit bankruptcy.
Bank of America's decision comes weeks after officials with the company said it would no longer finance “military-style” firearms for civilians.
Bank of America and Remington officials did not respond to Reuters' requests for comment.
