Bank of America selects chairman

Bank of America Corp.'s board voted to make Brian Moynihan chairman as well as chief executive, capping a comeback for a banker who survived the regulatory scrutiny and huge losses that followed the financial crisis.

According to the Wall Street Journal, current Chairman Chad Holliday will remain on the board.

The bank had split the roles of chairman and CEO in 2009 after a shareholder vote, hen Ken Lewis held both jobs.
