Bank of America has reached an agreement with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency over allegations that the company has had issues with sanctions compliance and suspicious activity monitoring.
The company has agreed to appoint a compliance committee and hire a third-party consultant, among other measures.
The agreement does not include a fine.
