Kansas City-based Bank Midwest will kick off a grand opening celebration at 11:30 a.m. May 18 for its second Springfield branch location inside the Wal-Mart Supercenter at 3520 W. Sunshine.
The bank's other branch is located inside the Wal-Mart Supercenter at 2021 E. Independence.
"Our goal is to introduce the Springfield area to convenient banking in two of the area's most popular stores," said Jenny Tiede, Midwest Bank branch manager, in a news release.
The hours of operation for the second location of Bank Midwest are 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. on Sunday.
Bank Midwest is a subsidiary of Dickinson Financial Corporation.
