Baking Up a Side Job

Ashley Tate, Owner of Sugar’s Pies and Sundries, had been working a number of side jobs, but decided to focus on her love of baking. Tate says she had already been baking for holidays and celebrations for a long time and says social media helped spread the word about her new business. “Doing what I love, mixed in with being able to help people celebrate and everything — it’s awesome, I love it,” Tate says.
