Back to School Giving

CU Community Credit Union celebrated back-to-school time Aug. 8 by donating items to Springfield Victory Mission’s Back to School event. Credit union employees adopt a different charity each quarter, and two shopping carts full of supplies were donated to Victory Mission along with $145 in collected donations. Victory Mission has held its annual Back to School event for 19 years; the organization plans to provide school supplies, clothing and books to more than 2,600 children this year.
