Author and restaurateur B. Smith died Saturday. She had early onset Alzheimer’s disease.
Starting out as a model, Smith went on to host syndicated television show "B. Smith With Style," a program about home decorating and cooking.
She owned three restaurants under the B. Smith name, and she launched lines of home goods in Bed Bath & Beyond and Walmart, among other retailers.
