Awards & Achievements in Construction and Design

Steve Waddell, general manager of Wickman's Garden Village, attended and designed for the Kansas State Florist Association. Waddell was a sponsored designer of American Floral Services, where he is a member of the creative and educational team.

Richard G. Scott, president of Scott Consulting Engineers PC, has been elected treasurer of the Consulting Engineers Council of Missouri. Scott began his term July 1.

Kim Estes has been awarded the E.A. Martin Company 1997 Employee of the Year Award. Estes received a cash award and a plaque. The other two finalists, Bess Brown and Johnny Mathis, also earned cash awards.

E.A. Martin Company also awarded service pins to its employees. Rob Adams, Gary Bishop, Jim Conell and Dianna Feller each received a five-year service pin. Lynn Cole, Larry Conley, Alan Marshall, Richard Maxwell and Pete Renfrow earned 10-year service pins. Dean Brake received a 20-year service pin, while Ronnie Puckett earned a 30-year service pin.

Coldwell Banker Vanguard, Realtors, was named the No. 1 office in listings sold for the first quarter of 1998 for 51 or more sales associates in the Midwest Region of Coldwell Banker Real Estate Corporation.

Ethel Curbow, of Coldwell Banker Vanguard, was recently named one of the top 10 sales associates in the state of Missouri for listings sold, gross commission income and closed revenue units for the first quarter of 1998.
