Chet Dixon, owner of HouseMaster "The Home Inspection Professionals" in Springfield, has been named the state habitat partner coordinator for Missouri for the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. The foundation's mission is to ensure the future of elk, other wildlife and their habitat. Dixon is also a consultant to the Missouri Women's Council.
Jeanne McFall, CRS, GRI, ABR, of Jones & Company, Realtors, has been named the Realtor-Broker of the Year by the Greater Springfield Board of Realtors. The award is the highest honor bestowed by the local association.
Anita Y. Oplotnik, Julie Barker, and Marilyn Bossing, all of NationsBanc Mortgage Corporation in Springfield, have received NationsBanc Mortgage's 1997 President's Club Award. The award is given annually to account executives for outstanding mortgage loan production and swift decision making on behalf of customers.
Shari Freeland, of Butler, Rosenbury & Partners Inc., has passed her architectural registration exam. Prior to joining the firm in 1996, Freeland worked in Illinois and locally. She is also licensed in Illinois and is a member of Butler Rosenbury's structural engineering team.
