Award-winning Child Advocate

Posted online
Jill Patterson, assistant Greene County prosecutor, received the Dr. John P. Ferguson Award for Child Advocacy from the Child Advocacy Center during a May 20 dinner. Among those who attended the event are, from left, former prosecuting attorney Tyson Martin; Patterson; City Councilwoman Cindy Rushefsky, also a former county prosecutor; and Greene County Chief Deputy Sheriff Jim Arnott. The award honors an individual, organization or family for child advocacy work.

The dinner also raised $70,000 for the Child Advocacy Center; all proceeds fund critical services for abused children from 18 southwest Missouri counties.[[In-content Ad]]
